JASON WU | PRE-FALL 2012
Jason Wu has definitely outdone himself in this ever-so sophisticated Maharaja and Charley Harper illustration inspired Fall 2012 sneak peek. “Combining the two meant a strict silhouette with stately embellishments,” he told ELLE, pulling out a houndstooth sheath adorned with bugle beads, before adding pointedly: “No detail has been spared.” Although you have to wait a bit before any of these pieces are on Wu racks, his impending collaboration with Target this February is surely something to look forward too!

As they say, when you fall in love … you always fall like it’s the first time.
I met this guy a year ago. He was the complete opposite of what “ideal” meant to me. But then, you can never expect love to come at the best gift wrapper or biggest box.
It comes like a lost coin, it’s either you try your luck and pick it up or just leave it there.
This guy jokingly made a banat.
“Alam mo, may kamuka ka …”
“Sino?”
“Next girlfriend ko.”
And now, we’re together for almost a year. Actually, it’s our anniversary on December 9.
I remember the time that I said “yes” to him.
It was a normal afternoon and his friends had to “fake kidnap” him. He arrived at the field, blindfolded.
The balloons were set in a way that they say … “OO”.
He took off the blindfold. There I was, standing in the middle.
I will always remember his look when he hugged me. I told myself, “I will never let this go. If I do, then I would look back at December 9 and feel the moment that even flying would never encompass.”
I have fallen in love many times, but I will always look at this guy, whom I am in love with today, and I would just say …
Everyday, I fall in love with you like it’s my first time. You may not be my first puppy, high school, teenage love … but I hope you’ll be my first love when forever starts.
